Until very recently, I had been a proponet for NON disclosure of what I personally know ' for a fact' to be true. ( Alien visitation, role in our true orgins, etc bla etc bla). Why? Because I've always felt that we as a planet are far from ready to be able to absorb that reality because we can't even accept each other, much less some funky looking EBE species with perhaps, fuschia colored skin? The first reaction to something we don't understand is ignorance, which = "fear", which typically leads to the "grab a gun, Hank! What da hell is dat!" mentality... shoot first, ask questions later. (After observing our peace ridden earth, can ya blame them for not making contact?)

Now, I'm not so sure. Perhaps if the truth was known, and we all realized where we actually came from, and how...and why... we as a planet might come to terms that we're all the same species, and cease the bloodshed due to differences in ideology, religion, skin color and so forth. (Of course we'd still have that "greed" thing to contend with)

I certainly realize that full disclosure is still a long timeacoming. Why? Among other "religious based" ramifactons, it would also mean having to disclose "free energy". *newsflash* This just down the wire; "electricity, gas and oil deemed obsolete via an amazing new energy device of alleged extraterrestrial orgins" *news at eleven!* This might present a tiny little problem for that little nonchalant "we do good things for life" industry AKA "power and energy military industrial complex". Perhaps you've heard of that multi-billion dollar - whoops, did I say billion? Make that "multi-trillion" dollar conglomerate that basically governs the "global" show. If you drive an auto, heat a home, turn on a light, or water your garden you've certainly heard of them. You write checks every month to them. Guess who ponied up the largest George W. Bush campaign fund donation few years back. Not as one entity, of course. When you see those little TV campaign ad disclosures, Paid for by the friends of George W, Bush foundation". you don't really think it's a bunch of good ole buddies from the ole neighborhood, do ya? The body of excellent evidence in respect to ETs is overwhelming and much information has come out. Correspondingly, there would be no easy way to inform the public of the Extraterrestrial existence, and no one government or military group to tell it. The situation is extremely complex, with some of it quite disturbing. The sudden announcement of the true reality of ETs would have a profound effect on Earth's cultural, financial, religious, and social institutions. There appears investigators uncovering undeniable proof of a working relation between members of the Intelligence Agencies; the Pentagon and various off-world races that is totally separate from the perhaps hundreds or even thousands of contactee cases around the Globe. Until the latest of our world conflicts, the United States had no armaments industry. American makers of plowshares could, with time and as required, make swords as well. But now we can no longer risk emergency improvisation of national defense; we have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present and is gravely to be regarded. To those who remain skeptical about the value of UFO research, here are some suggestions:

Read the serious and relevant UFO literature. Learn about the UFO investigators and research organizations. Know the facts behind the phenomenon. Study the data and do not confuse facts with speculation. Examine the research methods and arguments of skeptics.

Remember that honest and serious skepticism requires an understanding of the data, relevant scientific and social research, and the world-wide history of the UFO mystery
