Screaming Silence Project Times Are Critical The disastrous result of trying to force lyrics down the throat of a melody, the Screaming Silence project fell short of any and all expectations. Oddly enough, the songs have taken on sort a cult following with upwards of 500 plus down loads a day. Go figure. 
The tunes never got a final mix due to digital recorder meltdown. So what's the lesson we learn here kids? Back Up Everything! I might perhaps revise some of the tunes and re-record at a later date, now that my engineering (and back up) skills have improved drastically. Until then, sorry for the poor quality.

Ription Blue Project 4 Degrees of Separation Unmixed basic tracks for my new project with attempts to be more poppy melodic with hook, verse and chorus - It's freakin' difficult! Made me realize how complex music, in all it's simplicity, really is. Less is more and all that. Attempting to break the common 3 chord chop with one turn around mold, my previous project had tunes with 5 or more changes/bridges etc. Though it worked for me as a musician, It just doesn't work for the listener. Sorry bout that. I have some talented buddies with a gift of melody and was hoping their talents might rub off a bit. No luck. Just made me realize how hard it is to come up with a decent tune. To get a taste of cool melodies, check out Kevin Lafferty of Loco Mesa and Disco Lemonade of Elzy Lay. Tunes were tracked on a tascam 2488 MK2 - doing the drum tracks first - playing a rhy gitar to the drums - then bass line - keyboards if applicable - lead guitar - vocals then backing vocals. Currently looking into putting together a band nucleus that can re-record the trax live since cloning me is for the time being, out of the question. I'll eventually have the finished version available here, for free as always so check back for updates.
